Born in Riverside, New Jersey on February 6, 1965,  Fr. Ron graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987; and from The General Theological Seminary, NYC with a Master of Divinity degree in 1994.

Ronald Neal Pollock  was ordained to the Priesthood on December 17, 1994 by the Rt. Rev. G. P. Mellick Belshaw, Bishop of New Jersey.

From 1994 to 1998 Fr. Ron served as Curate at The Church of St. John on the Mountain, Bernardsville, N.J.  In 1998 he was called as Rector to St. John's in Somerville, N.J.

• The Diocese of New Jersey Committee on the Priesthood.

• Chair of the Recruitment Committee for the Diocese of N.J.

• Chaplain to the Somerville Fire Department, Somerville, N.J.

• Board member of Samaritan Homeless Interim Program since 1999.

• Board member of Curbing Hunger Inc. since 2006.
