Youth Group

The Youth Group at St. John's is intended for high school and middle school aged youth of our church. Of course, some of our members bring friends to our events and friends and family members of the high school and middle school age are always welcome. We try to make St. John's a welcoming place for teenagers. We meet on a monthly basis to plan our events. Some of our annual events include a ski trip, our overnight vigil at St. John's on Maundy Thursday, the "30 hour famine" to raise money for World Vision during the week prior to Easter, the "Big Air Show" during the Memorial Day bike races and of course the infamous Dorney Park trip. After our summer break, we typically have a Halloween event and at Christmas we make ornaments with local senior citizens. We hope this year to sponsor a coffee house\open mic night in the parish hall to help attract more people to our wonderful church.
